Beckie Seitz, RNBeckie is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College of California/Samuel Merritt University. She has practiced as a bedside nurse for over 16 years and is currently employed by Kaiser Permanente. Most of her career has been dedicated to women and infant care in the Postpartum and on the medical/surgical and oncology units. A strong patient and nurse activist, she served as Chief Nurse Representative at Kaiser Walnut Creek for the California Nurses Association/ National Nurses United, and currently represents her unit on the Professional Performance Committee/Nurse Quality Forum.

Ms. Seitz is a busy mother of two, ages 9 and 11 and is Head Coach of the San Ramon Bears, a “Pee Wee” cheer squad.  Beckie is passionate about uplifting the nursing profession and is excited and honored to have the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors for NCF.

Beckie was very touched and moved by Leslie Silket’s vision for Nurse’s Children Foundation and is excited to be part of the Board of Directors.
