Leslie Silket Speaks at Nurses Take DC Event

Nurses Take DC is honored to announce that Leslie Silket will be speaking at the rally on May 5th. Leslie Silket is an advocate and an activist, who, in 2012, after the tragic death of a co-worker established Nurse’s Children Foundation Inc. (NCF), a non-profit organization committed to raising funds to financially benefit children who have suffered the loss of a parent in the nursing profession. Nurses Take DC, a grassroots movement is organizing thousands of nurses across the country to rally in Washington DC to demand Safe Nurse-Patient Ratios to save the lives of our patients and the nursing profession.
